The aim of this module is to address environmental topics in the workplace and their links to OHS.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Identify hazards in the workplace and apply appropriate control measures.
Identify causes of accidents and emergencies in the workplace and prevention and investigation strategies.
List the activities of the HSA and EPA.
Describe an environmental management system.
Outline the main requirements of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005.
