Teaching and Learning Strategies

Students will work individually with their assigned dissertation supervisor and are expected to complete detailed research culminating in a written dissertation.

Students will have adequate preparation for the research process from research methods teaching and will be presented with opportunities for development of research skills from smaller scale research and problem solving opportunities in previous modules. To aid with the consideration of topics for the dissertation, students will be encouraged to think about this prior to the stage at which the research will be undertaken. Themes will be developed as a guide for students for topics, giving due consideration to feasibility and availability of information.

Module Assessment Strategies
