Description

This subject aims to provide the students with the skills and knowledge required to to develop the value stream as a source of competitive advantage.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

3.    Strategic Supply Management. Strategic Purchasing. Supply strategies for competitive advantage.

4.    Customer-Supplier relationships. Vendor Managed Inventory. Value network. E-supply chains.

5.    Strategic Performance Measurement Systems. Balanced Scorecard. Supply-Chain  Operations Reference (SCOR) model.

6.    Environmental strategies in supply and sourcing. Green and sustainable supply chains. Corporate Social Responsibility
