Description

The learners engage in an independent research project where they use the skills & competencies acquired in the program of study to research an area of relevance to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

1.

Work independently on a GMP project.

2.

Source literature relevant to the project.

3.

Plan & organise activities within a specified timeframe.

4.

Interpret & evaluate research findings.

5.

Present a report (written and oral) on the research findings.

Teaching and Learning Strategies

This module is delivered part time,  The work is cenetered around the delivery of a substantial project, which is driven mainly by the learner with some input from a company mentor and an academic supervisor.

This module is 100 % continuous assessment.

Repeat Assessments

Repeat submission of final project or repeat of process on alternative project.

Indicative Syllabus

Identify a suitable project and company mentor

Keep a logbook of activities

Complete a written report detailing research, procedures, evaluation of results, results and conclusions
