The first assessment is a group presentation conducted through the medium of a formal presentation and defence of a proposed business plan in order that the student advances their entrepreneurial thinking skills. Students will be required to develop the business plan using the following guidelines;  Project Concept - is the proposed product/service innovative or an import substitution. Is it feasible and is there a market for it? Planning and Projections - has the market been thoroughly researched and potential competitors identified?  The professionalism of Approach - have all aspects of the business been fully considered and are the necessary practical skills in place to deliver on the concept? Presentation - is the submission presented clearly, in an easy-to-read format?

Assessment Two 60%

The focus of this assessment is to align organisational change to intrapreneurial thinking. Students are required to identify a business process within an organisation for re-engineering. Utilising the ICT capabilities available students are required to design and produce a Business Process Reengineering report using industry standards. Students will be required to present their work, clearly outlining their rationale for choosing the Business Process and the integral role that BPR plays
