Teaching and Learning Strategies

Module Assessment Strategies
The learner must pass the continuous assessment, oral presentations and final exam aspects of the module.
The placement aspect of the module is only assessed on a pass/fail basis i.e. no marks will be awarded and it will not be counted towards the final grade of the module. However, to pass the module the learner must take part in an appropriate 12 week work placement and provide a satisfactory report at its conclusion.
Learners will be assessed on the basis of visits by tutors, a diary of work to be kept by the learner and on a short report provided by a senior member of the organisation in which the placement took place.
