The learners engage in an independent research project where they use the skills & competencies acquired in the program of study to research an area deemed appropriate by an academic superviser

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

Work independently on a work related project

Source literature relevant to the project

Become proficient at meeting deadlines within allocated timeframe
4.
Interpret and evaluate their findings and make recommendations on this basis
5.
Present their work and answer questions following their presentation
Teaching and Learning Strategies
Project work. No teaching involved. Weekly contact via phone and e mail to assess and discuss progress

Written report 50%, Presentation 25% and Continuous Assessment 25%

Keep a logbook of activities weekly. Logbook is approved by work supervisor
