DSGN08079 2019 Digital Practice 2 (Digital Products)
This Module will build on the experience the students have already gained through their engagement in the Digital Media for Design suite of modules, allowing them to produce 2D graphics material to industry ready standards and to produce and test user interfaces.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Produce industry ready materials for dissemination through print and digital media
Use a vector-based wireframe tool for designing and prototyping user experiences
Carry out low fidelity user testing of digital interfaces
Teaching and Learning Strategies
The learning outcomes will be achieved through a series of graphic and digital projects, in some cases linked to their main Product Design projects
Module Assessment Strategies
Assessment will be continuos, through the submission of three projects. The three projects focus on different competencies and so must all be passed to achieve the learning outcomes

Design and prepare professional digital content to an industry ready production standard.
Produce low fidelity wireframes and conduct user testing of digital interfaces
Use a vector-based wireframing tool such as AdobeXd, Proto.io, AxureRP for designing and prototyping high fidelity user experiences.
