DIGT08003 2022 Digital and Social Media for Business
The aim of the course is to provide students with a practical demonstration of how digital technologies and social media tools are changing business strategies and tactics across different industries. It will also combine digital, online and offline marketing campaigns, which are changing the way both customers and businesses communicate with each other.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Demonstrate and critically evaluate the importance of Digital and Social Media tools in business
Devise, construct and publish using online tools and applications as a means of effective communication medium
Measure and analyse visitor traffic to your online presence to continuously develop and improve your digital and social media
Construct a digital and social media strategy plan for a business
Teaching and Learning Strategies
The course will use a combination of teaching methods including, lectures, in-class discussions, practical demonstrations, presentations, guest speakers and readings used to improve student learning.

He received his Ph.D. in 1992 from the University of California, Berkeley, and his B.A. from Harvard University in 1985.
