COMP08136 2018 Virtualisation Infrastructure Management
This module provides the student with core practical and theoretical skills and competencies in virtualisation. As part of this module the students will learn how to create, configure & manage a virtualised infrastructure.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Analyse and understand the virtualisation architecture and the components that are part of a modern enterprise environment
Install, configure and optomise a hypervisor architecture
Implement a server virtualisation infrastructure
Monitor and maintain a server virtualisation infrastructure

Module Assessment Strategies
Assessment will be done by both MCQ based on the Microsoft 74-409 Server virtualisation with Windows Server Hyper-V and Systems Center and practical exams on Server Machines to test the students ability to implement and manage a Virtualisation Infrastructure |
