Description

This module provides the student with the ability to maintain, secure and troublehoot a Directory Service infrastructure, including security planning, group policy and backing up Active Directory both onsite and using the Cloud

Learning Outcomes

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;

Configure the user and computer environment using group policy

2.

Manage Enterprise Security and Configuration with Group Policy Settings

3.

Maintain the Active Directory Environment

4.

Configure Active Directory Certificate Services

Teaching and Learning Strategies

This module will be delivered using the flipped classroom where students will be provided with the lectures and labs on video through moodle and the class time will be used to master compentency in this practical area

Module Assessment Strategies

Assessment will be done by practical exams on virtual machines to test the students ability to manage and maintain an Active Directory Infrastructure

Repeat Assessments

Students presenting with a genuine case will be permitted to repeat the practical assessment.
