Teaching and Learning Strategies

It will also employ a "flipped classroom" approach where students will engage with Moodle based notes, videos and quizzes.

Module Assessment Strategies

Students will be assessed in a variety of ways with feedbacks enhanced by technology. The module will be assessed by means of practical activities during the weekly practical sessions, assignments in the word processing and presentations section which will be completed during the students independent learning. There will also be a computer laboratory-based assessment at the end of the module to ensure the student has met the learning outcomes and has taken on board the feedback given during the weekly practical sessions and the assignments already completed.

Repeat Assessments

Where the module mark is below 40%, the student will be asked to resubmit assignments for re-evaluation or repeat a practical continuous assessment.
