COMP06237 2018 Server Network Infrastructure
This Module provides students with the skills necessary to install a Server Operating System and to implement and configure Server services including DNS, DHCP Files and Directory Services.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to;
Installing and configure server operating systems
Configure server roles and features
Deploy and configure core network services
Install and administer Active Directory
Teaching and Learning Strategies
The practical element shall be delivered in a laboratory environment using Virtual Machines to validate a students ability to implement and configure Server services
Module Assessment Strategies
Students will take two practical assessments in a computer laboratory and a final written to exam.
Repeat Assessments
Repeat assessments will take the same format as above and students may repeat an assessment if there is a genuine reason for doing so.
